This chickadee took seeds from a feeder and cracked them open with his beak on a branch of the bush. Smart bird!
Cold, sunny. Residential neighborhood with deciduous and coniferous trees; especially maple.
The birds here have the particular habit of cracking open seeds with their beaks.
