Description:

Dark green low-lying plant with small white flowers.

Habitat:

Insular tropical mixed lowland forest.

Notes:

Spotted along the lower switchbacks of the Kealia Trail. This species is a Hawaiian native, its seeds having got to the islands attached to migratory birds. It is also known as Ceylon leadwort.
