Description:

Light yellow flower with four petals and large stamens.

Habitat:

In my yard. I've seen it in fields before.

Notes:

I think it may be an evening primrose but I'm not sure.

Hmm...of all the species of Oenothera that I just browsed through, I think it looks the most like Oenothera biennis.

I agree, it appears to be Evening Primrose. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oenothera
