White Tiger Moth with a Fly Friend

Description:

Almost all white Tiger Moth with just a few black spots and some orange on the abdomen and prothoracic legs. Family Erebidae, Arctiinae. The fly looks like a species of the Family Lauxaniidae and stayed on the moth for about half an hour. This is the Salt Marsh Tiger Moth, the hind wings are white, making this one a female (males have yellow-orange hind wings). (http://www.dallasbutterflies.com/Moths/h...).

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
