Batis minor
This small black-and-white bird comes from Wattle-eye family (Platysteiridae). It ressembles a flycatcher, and is rather small in size, smaller than sparrow, and restless - and therefore a nightmare for photographing...
Seen constantly moving in Acacia shrubs on shores of soda lake Elementaita.
As said, this species is very lively and restless, it moves jerkily and hastily all the time, and being hidden in branches of an Acacia shrub it proved a nightmare to photograph. Our photo session lasted some time, and resulted with about hundred shots - with 97% of them being completely useless - wrong focus, blurred, rapid movement... Only the first shot was good as it was taken, other two I had to work on to salvage them. However, it was worth it, and I am glad about it - I just IDed it and realized it was a "lifer" for me, some eight months after pics were taken... My photo spoils from my trip to Kenya had to wait long time for processing...
