Description:

Orange and black stripped Spittlebug about 1 cm long, Family Cercopidae.

Habitat:

Forest and secondary growth under the San Cristobal Bridge on the Highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 15, 1,500 meters.

Notes:

A similar species of Ocoaxo was spotted in Honduras by Tom15: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/175....

Cercopidae, Ischnorhininae, Ocoaxo sp., however, not the one from the link.
There are several species in Central America.
Please, verify!
