Grove snail

Cepaea nemoralis

Description:

Approximately 2cm diameter yellow shell, semi-glossy shell with a single dark brown band. The body is a pale brown and yellow in color with lighter spots.

Habitat:

Found in urban garden shortly after a rainfall, otherwise sunny day. Moisture still visible on the cement wall of the garden where the snail was spotted.

That's not actually the case but thanks for pointing it out. When I put up this spotting, the category was "invertebrate". I guess it was restricted to arthropod later.
