Geometrid Moth

Ourapterex sp.

Description:

This white moth has golden tinges at its tail area of the wings. Length: 50 mm; wingspan: 85 mm.

Habitat:

Notes:

The 2nd and 3rd photos, simulating in-flight pictures, are shots taken from the inside of the window pane while the moth is resting on it. Almost all moth/ butterfly photos are those of the dorsal view, I've tried to show the rarely seen ventral and frontal views of these animals.
