white spikey flower growing low to the ground with grass-like long leaves.

Habitat:

oak savannah on Mt Diablo in east San Francisco bay area

Notes:

Despite this plant's similarity to camas, and it sometimes grows along with Camassia quamash, the bulb is quite poisonous.
