Snow Mold

Description:

See the whitish fuzzy growth on the grass near the centre of the photo.

Habitat:

Damp grass early in the spring as the snow is melting. The mold clears up when the lawn dries up a bit and the snow all melts.

Notes:

Quite a few people (including me) are allergic to snow mold.
