Phlogiellus sp.
This beauty was crawling up the wall next to my computer desk... yes I did scream. Sorry about that... Anyway... its diameter including legs is circa 9-10 cm Its not little.
Office furniture? Seriously though I think it came in from the garden, the window had been open all day.
I have cropped the photo and added some light to it, so that it was clearly visible - that is all . Nearest spider I can find that looks like it is a tarantula... if this is a tarantula i am seriously considering packing up and moving back to the UK ... :D

Thank you very much stefan, what a great page you have in facebook too... fascinating :)
Mature male Phlogiellus sp. due its small size.

@cammie, yep- we (hubby & me) are a pair of wimps with poisonous things. I am still feeling nervous
And... Aaron- thanks for that I feel a whole lot more nervous now I know its hungry- eek.
We have a small covered fish bowl thingy with handles on- might try and get it in that & take it down to the jungle ...
It looks skinny and in need of a meal. Take it somewhere nearby (but away from your house) and release it in a safe place. It will be most grateful. :-)
Lol! You sound like me! Don't want it to die but have to know where it is! Good luck with your spider =)
Thanks Aaron G
...well its currently under my waste paper basket, don't want to kill it, and I do not want to put it back outside anywhere near the house... at least for now I know where it is... Anybody want to take on a spider...?
Yep, it's a tarantula. Put a screen on that window. ;-)
