Eastern Giant Swallowtail

Papilio cresphontes

Description:

I found a few of these on the tree, but I don't think any made it to pupation. I found one that I had been monitoring killed by a wasp and others just disappeared between my checks. Photo 2 shows an egg plus another in the background, and 3 shows a recently hatched larva.

Habitat:

Orange tree in a suburban yard
