Male Aspitates gilvaria.

Habitat:

Mountain meadow on the edge of deciduous woodland.

Notes:

Second spotting of Aspitates gilvaria in Greece. (1st spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/185...). According Fauna Europaea Aspitates gilvaria is absent from Greece and the only Aspitates in Greece is Aspitates ochrearia. Mount Vitsi (the location of this spotting) is located just few kilometers from Albania and FYROM, countries in which, again according Fauna Europaea, Aspitates gilvaria is present.
