Northern Flying Squirrel

Glaucomys sabrinus

Description:

Small and fast, glides across the room in seconds.

Habitat:

Oak hickory woods and our home.

Notes:

Thus guy breached the inside of the house one evening and had the cats in a frenzy. I opened up a high window and waited about 5 minutes. The squirrel followed the fresh air and 'flew' out.
