Bog Rosemary

Andromeda polifolia

Description:

Small dense evegreen shrub that usually gets to about one and a half feet tall and two to three feet wide. Narrow leaves in alternate placement can vary from dark green to blue-gray in color. Small urn or flask shaped flowers bloom white to pink in clusters of up to eight.

Habitat:

Western Garden Zones: A1-A3; 1-6. Native to to northern climates in North America, Europe, Asia, and throughout central Russia. Likes full sun with strong acidic soil.
