Description:

Large Dead Leaf Katydid, measuring about 12cm from head to the wing tips. An excellent leaf mimic, making it difficult to spot even among green vegetation. Found at night.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest in the Ecuadorian Amazon region near Tena.
