Red Guzmania Bromeliad

Guzmania Bromeliad

Description:

Bromeliads are interesting flowering plants with many attractive and amazing features. Nowadays, these plants have emerged as one of the popular houseplants, as most of them are suitable for growing indoors. While some of the hardy types are grown outdoors, most of them are kept indoors only. Most of these plants are epiphytes as they attach themselves to tree trunks. Some others are found attached to rocks or soil. The foliage of different bromeliad species vary in shape and size. Even the size of these plants vary from very small ones to those which are around four feet tall. The most interesting feature of bromeliads is the striking colorful part of the plant, which is not the flower, but the bract found beneath each small flower. Even the flowers are attractive, but small in size, as compared to the bracts in the inflorescence. Among these plants, Guzmania bromeliads are one of the most popular varieties
