Description:

A dark-brown butterfly with tinges of iridescence on the body. White spots on the wings. This little butterfly of about 1.5 cm in length is found only in the highlands of Chiapas and Guatemala. Family Nymphalidae.

Habitat:

Found resting on a bush at night, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
