Separated from the similar Water Monitor by its paler colour and the position of the nostrils which are close to the tip of the snout on Water Monitors but midway between snout tip and eyes on Clouded Monitors.

Thanks. That was from the early days when there were not so many categories, maybe reptiles was one of the missing ones then, I cannot remember. Or maybe it was just an error. It is corrected now.
