Gulf Croton

Croton punctatus

Habitat:

Native to Southern U.S. open coastlands and beach dunes.

Notes:

Also called Beach Tea (though in one of the sources I read it said the plant was toxic; it probably should not be consumed in any way.) The silvery green leaves contrast with all the other bright yellow greens on the dunes.
