Scarlet Band-winged Grasshopper

Oedipoda miniata

Oedipoda miniata inhabits especially coastal dunes, but occurs also in stony habitats, especially in dry river beds. This relatively small species has red hind wings.

Coastal dune.

Oedipoda miniata occurs very locally in the Mediterranean, especially in the east (Greece, Turkey) and from there across Central Asia to Western China.

Thank you again for your suggestion Mark. I think that this is Oedipoda miniata a grasshopper that inhabits especially coastal dunes, has red hind wings (like O. germanica) but it is smaller. In my opinion the photo (Skala Kalloni, Lesbos, Greece) of the suggested link from Wikipedia is also Oedipoda miniata.
