I have these in my yard & woods. I was worried that this was the European Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) since some conservationist see them as invasive, especially since they aren't native. I suggested that your image is of the native Ohio Buckeye (Aesculus glabra). In Google search, type in Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum vs Ohio Buckeye (Aesculus glabra)- the first three links (past the ads) have the best info if you want to really know the differences.
