It is brownish in the first picture due to internal retinal movement!

Haha...actually the 2nd pic isnt tht focused mark...and in the first pic,id focued only the eyes! Thts why u cant see other parts...and reverse ring is much cheaper option for macro....check the second pic now ive added a new one :)

Not sure I understand. In #1 I can see four eyes and part of one leg and in #2 there is a big shadow. How does the 'reverse ring' help?
