Crayfish

Astacoidea

Description:

Freshwater crustacean resembling a small lobster, to whom they are related.

Habitat:

This one was in the River Lark which runs through The Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. This is the first time in many years of visiting this spot that I have ever seen a crayfish in this stretch of water.
