Galium odoratum
small clusters of white flowers on low-growing perennial plant
cultivar in shade, rich well-drained soil; 3 miles from the beach, up 500 ft.
It spreads, but can be contained within a bed. It's used for flavoring, and for a sedative tea (due to its containing the medicinal paralytic coumarin).
