Purple Allamanda

Allamanda blanchetii

Description:

A woody tropical evergreen shrub that produces large, bright flowers year-round. Native to Central and South America. Vigorous growing and may reach a free-standing height of 2 metres or more. Leathery leaves are lancelike, pointed, and may either be opposite or in whorls of three or four. The trumpet-shaped flowers are 5-7.5 centimetres in diameter.
