You are right with Ajuga - that's it actually.

Thanks to your comment i was able to ID it even more precise: it is Ajuga genevensis, or Geneva Bugle.

I believe this is an ajuga (bugleweed). Not sure of the species, and there are probably cultivars of this plant. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajuga for more information.

Nope not Sedum. Not sure what though.
