Wow, you're from Iligan! I have cousins there. Wish we had time to visit Tinago Falls when I went there last month. Could've found interesting spottings there.
They're not easy to spot in the city. Got that myself in our province in Iloilo..
this is what I'm looking forward to spot, but I can't find them anywhere anymore unless I'll be going back to my hometown..

I googled Mexica Petunia, Alice. But its leaves are not the same as in the picture.
In Florida, we call this Mexican Petunia. My Ruellia in FL is different
