Domestic Muscovy Duck

Cairina moschata domestica

Description:

Skull, pelvis, sternum. Photos edited for visibility, only lightened enough to be seen clearly.

Habitat:

Grassy area and roadside along a canal.

Notes:

Fond only several yards away from wings and feathers, but those pictures might be considered too disturbing so I did not post them on this spotting. I also have personal specimen to confirm the skeletal remains. Unfortunately despite being a widely distributed species, there is a lack of decent and accessible osteological references for the Muscovy duck.
