Thank you! I know, there are some gorgeous butterfly pics, I was away on research for the majority of "butterfly season" so I feel I missed out! Although yesterday a red admiral landed right in front of me, basking in the sun... of course I had no camera!
It is so beautiful! And yeah, I know the pain of snapping an empty flower ;) I really admire people here on PN uploading so many butterfly spottings.
ha ha! yeah there's nothing more frustrating than just getting focus then the subject disappears. :)
Thanks! One of the few times I've actually been able to get a photo of a butterfly (rather than just an empty space where the butterfly had been 2 seconds previously)
Stunning pic! :)
Thank you everyone :)
pretty!
Really beautiful picture!
Wow! I think I 've never seen a butterfly so beautiful :))
Butterflies never keep still do they! great shot..and thanks for your kind remark :o)
Lovely shot. Very stunning markings.
I was trying desperately to get a photo of it with its wings totally upright because the underside is very striking. Unfortunately this was the only one I managed to get, it flitted off seconds after I took this! An excuse to go back to Gibraltar I think.
Neat. I'm surprised to see that underneath it's wing is more colorful than the above. Did you get any more shots of this one?
