Tortoise Beetle

Description:

Metallic blue beetle with four orange spots on its abdomen. Its shell is very wide and extends past the width of the body very conspicuously, making it almost tortoise-like.

Habitat:

Lakeside habitat

Notes:

It looks similar to another tortoise beetle, Stolis cuculata.
