Arctic Fox

Alopex lagopus

Description:

This is an arctic it has a very fluffy coat to keep it warm in the cold arctic. This species is a great example of all animals being inter linked they follow the polar bears to feed on what has been left behind. The fox was very small but is still very intelligent.

Habitat:

The Arctic fox lives in the arctic tundra but they also venture out onto the melting ice flows. For the most part they follow the polar bears.

Notes:

With the melting of the ice in the north pole polar bears are forced to scavenge for food inland this will most likley altar the way that this species lives significantly.
