Description:

An insect flying like a humming bird, about 8mm long, in constant movement, with a long sting to collect nectar from the flowers of the lilac, very difficult to catch, especially on a windy day like yesterday that made the connecting also difficlut for this species.

It is a bee fly I think. Bombylius major probably due to the colour on the wings..
