Eastern Chipmunk

Tamias striatus

Description:

this chipmunk has only one arm

Habitat:

woodlands, forest

Notes:

this chipmunk hung around our campsite in the Western Uplands in Algonquin Provincial Park. it only had one arm but by the way it ran around the camp, you couldn't tell. I had seen this same critter the previous year, so it was nice to see that it lasted the winter. it's eating a raison.
