Oh that's a shame! Maybe if you told them you just had to take a photo of the cygnets they'd let you in for free... I'm sure that's a rule!
Shan't be at Hever Castle again any time soon though, quite expensive for what it is.
Very sweet, make sure you take some pictures of the cygnets when they hatch :D
