Galerina hypnorum group

Description:

Beautiful, delicate orange mushroom with translucent, thin-skinned striated bells and thin orange stipe. Caps were about 10 mm wide. Gills were spaced and the same colour as the cap.

Habitat:

Spotted growing on a damp moss-covered eucalyptus tree trunk. Occurrence record: http://bie.ala.org.au/species/6d4a1cf2-4...

Notes:

True Galerina hypnorum is said to be found only in the Northern hemisphere. These appear to belong to the group.
