Habitat:

Spotted at Niagara parks Butterfly Conservatory, Ontario, Canada

Notes:

The Tiger Longwing is a butterfly that occurs from Mexico to the Peruvian Amazon. These pretty butterflies are pollen eaters rather than surviving on food stored from the laval stage or on flower nectar. The eating habit of the Tiger Longwing attributes to its longevity of several months as well as its high fecundity rates.
