Cool! It could also be a great egret, which is also white but bigger. Hard to tell from the photo! But still, neat find :)

Thanks. I wondered about it being an egret but wasn't sure. I see a lot of herons and geese around here but not many egrets.

Looks like a snowy egret :) Lovely spot, they are elegant birds!
