Description:

Small bird, about 6 inches long. Fat or chunky appearance. Females are smaller. Feathers range in different shades of brown and grey.

Habitat:

Known as the most widely distributed wild bird because it has been introduced to most parts of the world. These are often found to be living in close proximity to humans.
