Agalychnis callidryas
It is one of the most colorful frogs of Costa Rica. His body is lime green. The flanks of the body and limbs are blue or purple in individuals of the Atlantic, and orange in the Pacific. The flanks of the sides of the body is interrupted by a series of vertical white bars. Hands and feet are orange. The throat and abdomen are white and sometimes have small white spots on its back. The pupil of the eye is vertical preserved or live specimens observed under strong light. The lower lid is crosslinked. The iris is red in live specimens. The fingers have rich and extensive webbing. No transverse dark bars on the top surface of the thigh.(INBIO)
Rain Forest
This photo was taken at night, the pupil of the frog is black because it has not been disturbed. This frog is nocturnal and if the photo is taken during the day, means that it was awakened and the whole eye will be red.
