Description:

European Common Spadefoot or Garlic Toad.

Habitat:

This toad is a night hunter and dig itself into soil during daytime. When alarmed, it emits a very loud call (alarm call) and it can exude a noxious secretion which bears a garlic odour, hence the common name "garlic toad".

Beautiful indeed! Despite the fact that this frog listed as non endangered in Europe this was only the 2'nd time i've spotted this amazing creature.
