Description:

8-9" Female buff-brown, tinged with red on crest, wings and tail. Male bright red.

Habitat:

Woodland edges, thickets, brushy swamps and gardens.

Notes:

Male was no where in sight at the time, he usually chased her back into the brush. Male photo was taken Feb 26th, 2011.
