Here's another guess: Sphenomorphus jagori jagori. I heard it's fairly common near Bulusan. http://www.herpwatch.org/species_images....

Haha Dan. You're right, I wrongly IDd your lizard. I think it belongs to the genus Sphenomorphus. I can't seem to find the latest journal paper about skinks and their distribution in the Philippines in my laptop. We'll solve this puzzle.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't know either, the photo doesn't look exactly like it. Maybe its just a variation of the species. It's your call Nath.
