Spotting

Description:

Rounded edges, on front there is dark stripes, caves in some places, gray, some what poky underneath, very hard texture.

Habitat:

Attached to a fallen tree in Central Wisconsin.

Notes:

Possibly Turkey Tail(coriolus versicolor).

The pore surface is not bruised but, that could be because of the cold weather. It is also not shiny.

Ganoderma sp., maybe G. applanatum. Did the pore surface bruise at all?
