Wild Thyme

Thymus serpyllum

Description:

Low, subshrub growing to 2 cm (1 in) tall with creeping stems up to 10 cm (4 in) long. Oval evergreen leaves are 3–8 mm long. Flowers strongly scented, pink-lilac coloured.

Habitat:

Mountain meadow, at around 1200m altitude.

Notes:

Crushed some flowers in my hand, very strong perfume.
