Eastern Bluebird

Sialia sialis

Description:

7" Bright blue above and on wings and tail; rusty throat and breast; white belly and under tail covers.

Habitat:

Open woodlands and farmlands with scattered trees.

Notes:

Not the best shots, but I was excited to see him at the Walden Preserve. There are always so many different birds, frogs, and mammals.
