Basidioradulum radula
This is rather spectacular fruitbody, extending over 2 meters in length on this decaying log. The fruitbody appears in patches, rounded at first, ochre coloured with whitish margins. Patches start to merge later on, covering larger area. The surface is covered in spikes, 5-10 mm long (see Pic N° 2 for details of these spikes).
Found growing on a decaying log, felled few years back and left lodged on top of other stumps, so it is in horizontal position but on some 1,20 above the forest floor. This is a lowland broadleaved forest, composed mainly of oak and beech, in Geneva lake valley.
