Description:

Large, orange flowers that are 5" in diameter. Individual flowers open for only one day. Flower scapes can rise up to 6' tall from a large clump of thick, blade-like, green leaves.

Habitat:

Spotted on the side of a nature trail in a wooded area at Pawling Nature Reserve.

Hello! I'm sorry, I put two tags on, although the Daylily is often called simply a lily, the Daylily is more accurate and holds the proper scientific name, Hemerocallis fulva
