I love the promise of bud's in general, you never know exactly when it will open and what awesome beauty will emerge.
I will check later whether I have a picture of the opened flower. I'm rather sure I have one, but not now at hand. Give me some time to upload.

Very pretty! I have "Rose" Campion in my garden (Southeastern Ohio). Its leaves are like that of Lamb's Ear. Really different. Am curious to see this bud whenever it opens.
