Project Noah Nature School
Liriodendron tulipifera
I've been seeing these a lot lately at both Cane Creek Park in Cookeville, TN & then again at Fall Creek Falls State Park this past weekend.
You are welcome - I have one of those HUGE Tulip Poplars (40 feet tall) growing in my yard (Southeastern Ohio)....& I too LOVE Project Noah - very educational/informative & some of these pics just make me go WOW!!! :)
Thank you, again, Sarah! Until today, I had no idea that those trees blossomed like that. I LOVE this website! Very educational. :D
Your second picture gave it away for me! It's the inside of a Tulip Poplar flower. Very pretty. :)
